About us
The inHAYle Journey
inHAYle began when I was concerned by the respiratory difficulties I was seeing in my horse Parsley, affectionately named Mr P, a lovely 14 year old dressage horse.
On the vet's recommendation, a hay steamer was a must for the future well being of Parsley. The age old method of soaking hay to try and remove respirable particles just wasn’t working.
Now the easiest thing would be to buy one but the top brand (we all know which one) was financially out of reach so we looked for cheaper alternatives.
After an exhaustive search I concluded that none of the available ‘budget’ hay steamers would tick all the boxes that were required.
So the conclusion was to either save up to afford the top brand hay steamer or build my own - I chose the latter. After months of trial and error and meticulous attention to detail the inHAYle 190 hay steamer was born.
The proto type inHAYle 190 worked so well that fairly soon word had spread and everybody wanted one.
After receiving amazing feedback and praise I decided to launch it for sale to the general public and so far it is doing fantastically well, so well that I have developed a smaller version the inHAYle 108.
I wanted to get these products right and took an almost forensic approach to achieving that.
It has taken time, money and lot of effort but to improve the health of not just my horse but all horses using the inHAYle 190/108 hay steamers is highly rewarding.
The result of our goal is clean, dust and mould free, palatable hay.
